Corrective action
Corrective action is process of rectifying problems
When linked to quality, corrective action usually involves structural, organisational or cultural change to ensure that such problems do not recur.
The Tempus (2001) definition of corrective action is:
actions undertaken in order to eliminate the causes of existing incongruence, irregularities, or any other undesirable action in order to prevent their repetition.
